Rev. Mrs. Vanessa Mensah - Adu

Rev Mrs. Vanessa Mensah-Adu is currently the Minister in charge of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Maryland. She was formerly the Press and Information Attaché at the Embassy of Ghana, Washington DC. Prior to her Diplomatic Mission in the USA, she was at the Information Service Department. She was also the Guidance and Counselling coordinator at the Achimota Basic School, Accra Ghana.

Rev.Mrs Mensah-Adu has educational background in School Administration, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, and Adult Education. After teaching for 8 years, Rev Mrs. Mensah-Adu proceeded to the University College of Education, Winneba to study Psychology and Education and majored in Guidance and Counselling.

She taught at Aburi, Achimota Basic School, and Accra Girls High School. She later became the Guidance and Counselling coordinator for Achimota Basic School. Along the line, she switched her teaching profession to join the Information Service Department.

Rev Mrs. Mensah-Adu is a dedicated and self-motivated individual with decades of experience in school, government and church leadership. She is interested in developing the next generation of church leaders and ensuring that the church remains relevant for years to come. She has leadership skills and experience in outreach programs, event planning and fundraising. She takes delight in working with church leadership to create a safe and supportive worship environment and providing guidance and counselling to the youth on spiritual and everyday matters.

Rev Mrs. Mensah-Adu is known for her ability to build a fast rapport with members of the congregation. In addition to this, she aides in providing spiritual leadership, planning evangelism strategies, and assists in all aspects of Ministry organization, including online services.

Rev Mrs. Mensah-Adu is a Board member,of the Zealous Christian Professional Forum Inc and spends time on the management of the forum activities on voluntary basis. She attends meetings of the Board and takes part in the deliberations including policy decisions.

She is married and has three beautiful young ladies, and one granddaughter.
