Mr. Seth Adza
I am a chartered Accountant. I joined the Ghana Audit Service in 1974 and held key positions with both national and international organizations including the Chief Internal Auditor of the Ghana National Procurement Agency,an organization that imports goods in bulk like, sugar, rice, cooking oil on behalf of the Government. I was also the Head of External Audit Offices at the Ghana Internal Revenue Service and the Ghana Customs Excise and Preventive Service.
These are the two revenue-generating organizations of the Ghana Government. In 1996, l was appointed the Director of External Audit at the United Nations Board of Auditors, New York, the position I held for 4 years. I also worked with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations as Chief Operational Review Officer. I coordinated the responses to the reports of the oversight bodies and followed up on the implementation of their recommendations. A position I held until my retirement on 31 December 2015.
I was consecrated as a Presbyter at the Ablenkpe Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Accra in 1990. I am also a member of the Deacons Board, Calvary Baptist Church, New York.
I am a Board member, of the Zealous Christian Professional Forum Inc and spends on time on the management of the forum activities on voluntary basis. I attend meetings of the Board and take part in the deliberations including policy decisions.
My hobby among others includes traveling and I have visited 24 countries.
I am married to Millicent and we have three children.
