He is the Chair of the UN Technical Team on Common Premises (TTCP) and promotes UN coherence and Reforms. He was Chief of Operations, UNICEF Bangladesh, UNICEF Nepal, Kathmandu, UNICEF Pacific, Suva, Fiji. Operations Manager at UNICEF Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and UNICEF Nigeria — spending over 16 years heading UNICEF Operations in five countries (2002-2018).
Prior to joining UNICEF, he was the Director of Finance & Accounts (Minister Counselor, Treasury) at the Permanent Mission of Ghana to the United Nations, New York for five and half years (February 1995–July 2000).
While in Ghana, he held other senior positions such as Chief Accountant of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, the prime and leading teaching hospital in the country(1993-1995); Principal Accountant KomfoAnokye Teaching Hospital (1989-1993) ; Senior Accountant, Board of Public Tribunals, State House, Accra (1985-1989); and Accountant, Department of Births and Deaths, Headquarters, Accra(1981-1985), all seconded from the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.
Dzidula is a Chartered Accountant since January 1991 and has over 29 years of post-qualification work experience. He holds an MBA in Finance with distinction and an Honors Certificate of Excellence in Finance from Long Island University, New York in 1998.
Dzidula attended several leadership and managerial training sessions in Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, Coaching, Strategic Thinking, Effective Communication, Conflict Resolution, Supervisory Skills and Complex Emergency Sessions. He is a highly proficient, globally certified Competency Based Interviewing (CBI) Trainer of Trainers for UNICEF.
He brings with him a very rich experience and knowledge in turning around businesses and organizations to become financially viable, self-sustaining and putting in place mind renewal strategies for leadership remodeling.
He is married to Sylvia with two children.
